Barrows in Morytania — all six brothers, their combat styles and special effects, and how kills raise your chest loot chance. Plus Wintertodt, the Blast Furnace, Pest Control, the Duel Arena and the Fight Caves.
Barrows is a high-level PvM minigame located in Morytania. Delve into each of six brothers' crypts, defeat the brother inside, then loot the central chest. Each brother you've killed increases your chance of a Barrows item from the chest.
| Brother | Combat Style | Special Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Ahrim | Magic (accurate) | Randomly lowers Strength |
| Dharok | Melee | Deals more damage the lower his HP |
| Guthan | Melee | Heals from damage dealt |
| Karil | Ranged | Randomly lowers Agility |
| Torag | Melee | Randomly drains run energy |
| Verac | Melee (special) | Hits through prayer and armour |
The chest also always yields 2 rune rolls (100–250 quantity each) and 1 potion. Ahrim's staff, Dharok's set, and Verac's flail are typically the most valuable drops.
The Fight Caves is a solo wave-based minigame beneath TzHaar City. Survive all 63 waves to face TzTok-Jad — the most feared monster in 2006 RS.
| Monster | Notes |
|---|---|
| Tz-Kih (waves 1–2) | Drains prayer on hit — keep them off you |
| Tz-Kek (waves 3+) | Splits into smaller versions on death |
| Tok-Xil (waves 15+) | Ranged attacker, accurate |
| Yt-MejKot (waves 31+) | Melee, heals adjacent Jad-family monsters |
| Ke-Zil (waves 45+) | High magic attack — protect from magic |
| TzTok-Jad (wave 63) | Boss — alternates Magic and Ranged, spawns healers |
Defeating Jad rewards you with the Fire Cape — the best cape in the game for melee — and a pile of Tokkul. Obsidian items (Obby maul, shield, cape) drop from TzHaar monsters throughout the city.

Challenge other players to a duel with custom rules — no armour, no food, no prayer, no magic, etc. Stake items at your own risk. No server intervention in duel outcomes; understand the rules before accepting.
Deep in the Wilderness, the Mage Arena lets you unlock the three god capes (Saradomin, Zamorak, Guthix) by fighting their respective magical avatars. Requires level 60 Magic. The god capes are best-in-slot for their respective magic styles and necessary for the Charge spell.
Board Captain Murphy's boat at Port Khazard and keep the trawler from sinking by bailing water and patching holes. Rewards are random fish from the net haul, and completing runs contributes toward the Angler's outfit (if available).
A free-for-all PvP arena in TzHaar City. All players fight to be the last one standing. No entry fee, no risk from outside mechanics — just PvP. Great for practising switching.
Located at the Gnome Stronghold, this course is available from level 1 Agility onwards and is the primary training method for low-level Agility. Complete the full circuit for an XP bonus.
At the Barbarian Outpost (requires completion of Alfred Grimhand's Barcrawl), this course provides better XP than the Gnome course and is recommended once you have the stats to access it.
